I choose you Abba-
I choose life, and breath, and peace.
I choose you Abba,
I lift my hands, I ‘release’.
Release my heart from selfish woes
the pitiful wailing of spirit stubbed toes.
the selfish wants, and haves and musts
I choose what is eternal, and knows no rust.
I choose your life, your peace, your rule-
I humble my heart to the potters tool.
I die to live-
I lose to gain-
I lack to give-
I thirst for rain.
I choose you, Abba
I choose life.
